Website and hosting
The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Technical connection data, particularly your IP address and the requested page, is processed for delivery and security. Our legitimate interest is secure, reliable operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The website code includes no analytics or advertising scripts, embedded third-party content or application cookies. Images and fonts load without external font or image services. Technical processing by the hosting infrastructure is separate from this.
Cookies and language selection
Language selection uses page links. Our application does not store the selection in cookies or local browser storage. The enquiry form does not use these storage functions either. Technical delivery by the hosting providers described above is separate; links to their information are provided below.
Form, email and phone enquiries
We process your contact details and information about your boat and requirements to respond to your enquiry. Contract-related enquiries are based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other communication relies on our legitimate interest in responding (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The form only prepares a message in your email app. It sends no form data to our web server. We receive the information when you send the email. Name, email and message are required to prepare the form; boat details are optional. You can also contact us directly. Incoming emails are handled through Apple iCloud Mail.
The WhatsApp buttons are external links. You move to WhatsApp only when you open them; we do not embed a WhatsApp widget. WhatsApp processes data under its own privacy notice. When you send us a message, we process your phone number and message content to handle your enquiry on the grounds described above. You may use email or phone instead.
Providers and international processing
Hosting and communication providers may receive the data needed to deliver their services. Their notices also describe processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. OpenAI describes adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses; Cloudflare refers in particular to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Details and contacts for the respective safeguards are available in the provider information linked below.
Retention
We retain enquiries for as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, carry out an order. Business records subject to statutory retention requirements are kept for the required period (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). Data is then deleted unless another legal basis applies. Infrastructure providers also apply their own retention rules to technical data.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Any consent given may be withdrawn for the future. You may complain to a data protection authority, in particular the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD). This website does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
